What
is a remanufactured cartridge?
An
empty or used original cartridge which has been
refilled and refurbished to a high standard.
Remanufactured cartridges contain a similar quality of ink as original
cartridges. Remanufactured cartridges are normally
guaranteed but do not always perform to the same standards
as their OEM equivalents. Ink/toner spilt inside a
fax/printer is not covered under the remanufactured
cartridge guarantee and is expensive to resolve.
What
is a compatible cartridge?
Compatible cartridges are brand new cartridges supplied by
an independent manufacturer. Compatible cartridges are
manufactured to similar standards as original cartridges
and are normally cheaper and guaranteed but sometimes
perform poorly. Ink/toner spilt inside a fax/printer is
not covered under the compatible cartridge guarantee and
is expensive to resolve.
What
is an OEM cartridge?
OEM is
the abbreviation for Original Equipment Manufacturer. From
our experience, you are unlikely to damage your equipment
or suffer from toner spillage (expensive repair) if
you use OEM cartridges. We not only supply ink and toner
but also repair printers, fax, copiers and plotters. |
